There's a wedding rapidly approaching!!!!

In 100 Days,...

Kevin and I will be getting married! How crazy is that?  It still seems like it will be forever, but 100 days makes it sound like it REALLY is just around the corner!  I'm so excited to start this journey with Kevin!  We are signing a lease on Saturday for our first home together.  We are really excited about that too!  Lots of exciting things are happening in life right now.  However, along with all of the excitement, there is stress too.  I won't have a job when I first move to Houston.  That stresses me out beyond belief, but I know that God will take care of me.  He always does.  He always loves and always provides! 

On a side note, I just read an entry on Courtney's blog and boy did it help me!  I appreciate her sharing that God made us who we are for a reason.  We don't need to strive to be like anyone else, no matter how "cool" we think that they may be.  Society makes this very, very hard, but how true is it?!  How exciting that God made me just this way for a purpose!  For His purpose!  There is no one else like me.  God crafted and molded me and created me in His image to fulfill his purpose for my life.  I pray that I can do that.  I pray whole-heartedly that I fulfill his purpose on my life.  I am learning more and more to lean on him.  I always thought that I trusted him one hundred percent of the time.  To say that recently, hasn't been true.  That saddens me, but it's true.  Starting a marriage without a job and financial struggle stresses me out.  However, more and more recently, I KNOW and I BELIEVE that GOD will provide.  I'm honestly tired of worrying about it.  We will be fine.  God will provide.

Fun Times with Fun People!

New Year=New Things!

After Christmas, Kevin, Matt, Diane, Tessa, Brett, Chris, Katy, and myself went to watch the bowl game that Baylor football was in.  Here are a couple of pictures!  It was a great time...but not a great game!

On New Year's Eve, Kevin and I bought a new truck!

Later that night we went to dinner with our friends Chris and Katy.  It was a good time!  This year is going to be FANTASTIC!!!  It's started out so great!  We've registered for different items (see picture below), completed marriage counseling, ordered tuxes, bridesmaids dresses, and I am in the process of getting my dress altered!  God has been so great to us!

Kevin loved to scan all of the items! Haha!  That was an ADVENTURE!

My WONDERFUL kindergarten team!

I am so excited about getting married and starting the new role of being a wife!  I'm very blessed to have Kevin and to be starting this adventure with him, but this means me having to move to Houston.  I am excited for all of the things Houston has to offer, but am SO sad to leave my WONDERFUL kindergarten team.  They are my family.  They keep me on my toes and bring me joy every day that I see them.  This team isn't a team that just sees each other at work.  We see each other on the weekends, watch movies together, have dinner together, and LOVE spending time together.

The team includes:
Kay~the "captain," voice, Fay, and comedian
Lisa~the organizer, note writer, comedian, and drama queen
Hillary~the laid back, "I don't care" attitude wearer, silly, and crazy-fun person
Jackie~ the "mom," listener, opinionated, and joyful one
Kerry~the "queen," quiet, observer, practical, and one-liner funny gal
Jill~the queen of girl scout cookies, practical, silly, quiet, fun one
Jen~the country, loud, high energy, speed racer
Jana~blonde, smart, funny story teller
LauraAnn~ the new teacher that isn't in any of the pics because she started in January.  She is a joy and a perfect match to the team!
Me~the organizer, note taker, silly, and observer

We have each other!  That's all we need.  Family doesn't mean who you are related to by blood...it's who you are related to spiritually.  These ladies are tremendous, incredible, funny, caring, and they are my family!

The next several pictures will show you just how FUN they really are and why I am going to miss them so much!  Enjoy the laughs!
